Level 31 | Welland, Ontario | Tech Artificer

📜 The Prologue: Origins

Every story has a spawn point. Mine is Manitoulin Island, the largest freshwater island in the world, located in Lake Huron, Ontario. Growing up in such a distinct, isolated environment instilled in me a sense of resilience and curiosity. It was there, amidst the lakes and forests, that I first discovered the glowing screen that would define my career.

Like any adventurer seeking higher-level zones, I eventually migrated south. I spent seven years establishing myself in the Niagara Region, honing my skills and adapting to city life. Currently, I have set up my permanent base of operations in Welland, Ontario, where I have resided for the past two years.

"From the quiet shores of Manitoulin to the digital noise of the web, my mission remains the same: Build, Create, and Connect."

🛠️ The Artificer's Workshop (IT & Tech)

My professional class is that of a Technomancer. I don't just use computers; I bend them to my will. Over the last decade, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of Information Technology that goes far beyond the surface level of Windows and Mac.

I am a proponent of Linux environments, preferring the raw control and power of the terminal over the safety of a GUI. Whether it's troubleshooting hardware failures, configuring servers, or hand-coding websites like this one (rejecting the bloated frameworks of the modern web), I believe in understanding the how and why of the machinery.

⚔️ The Archives: Gaming History

My reflex skills were forged in the fires of MMORPGs. I belong to the "Old School" generation of gamers who remember the world before microtransactions.

Logged into RuneScape

At the dawn of browser gaming, I stepped into Gielinor. Over 20 years later, I still carry the memories of those early grind sessions. The discipline required to max stats in RuneScape taught me patience that applies to coding today.

Enter: World of Warcraft

I joined the Alliance (and occasionally the Horde) during the peak of the Wrath of the Lich King era. Raid leading and guild management in WoW were my first true lessons in leadership and team coordination.

🔥 The Campfire Tavern

In an age of disconnected social media, I believe in the power of tight-knit communities. I am the Guild Master, owner, and operator of The Campfire Tavern.

The Digital Space

The Tavern is primarily a Discord community and a dedicated website where friends gather to chat, share lore, and relax. It is guarded by our official mascot: My White Cat 🐈, who oversees all moderation duties with a judgmental stare.

The Physical Realm

We bring the digital into reality. I organize online/in-person meetups, such as our legendary Movie Nights . We also run creative campaigns, like our current Postcard Project, where members submit physical artwork to be printed and shared.

The 2026 Quest

I have always identified as a cartoonist/drawer, but digital tools made me lazy. My New Year's Resolution for 2026 is a return to basics.

My current quest is to master Anime and Fantasy style art using only Pencil and Paper. No Ctrl+Z, no layers—just graphite and imagination. I am documenting this progress weekly.

The Galley

When the servers are down, you can find me in the kitchen. I am a specialist in Dutch Oven cooking. There is a magic in the slow-cooking process—braising ribs or chicken for hours until the meat falls off the bone.

However, my absolute favorite food requires no cooking at all: Salmon Sashimi. Simple, elegant, and perfect.
